No Cashback from Energy Savings Club!
Oh the irony! Switch completed and email received from MSE on 29th October confirming and saying I'd have my Cashback (went to M&S Energy) in 6 weeks:
"When will I get my cashback?
In around six weeks. It'll be paid straight into your account and appear as 'EnergyClubCashbk'."
Well here we are Martin and where's me money?:money:
Checked through the bank account and no money received. Can I complain about MSE through MSE do you think?
Answers Martin!

I've now received a generic email response:-
"Cashback is issued by MoneySupermarket, usually three months after the switch application is submitted."
Well this contradicts what it says on your site, doesn't it and what you said in emails saying it would be 6 weeks? This said, I submitted mine on 25/08/13 - so that is now 5 months.
So I'll wait on a real response and not a generic one:mad:0 -
Hmm, same issue here, no cheque, no funds to bank, no way to respond as address is Cheap Energy Club <noreply@moneysavingexpert.com>.
Hurrah! Your cashback has been paid
We just wanted to let you know that your switching cashback has just been paid though it'll take a couple of days to reach you.
If you gave us bank details when you signed up it's been paid into that account and will appear as 'EnergyClubCashbk'. If not, we've just posted out a cheque to you.
Expecting more cashback? Sometimes suppliers offer short-lived deals with extra cashback. The cashback for this part of the deal is paid separately and should be with you soon (if you haven't already received it).

I received this same email on 3rd January, still no cashback in the bank or any sign of a cheque - that's a long couple of days. Anyone know who to contact about it ?djpleasure wrote: »Hmm, same issue here, no cheque, no funds to bank, no way to respond as address is Cheap Energy Club <noreply@moneysavingexpert.com>.

Is this Cashback a con then?0

Found this on the cheap energy club FAQ
I haven't received my cashback - what should I do?
If you move to a supplier that we can switch you to, £15 cashback is paid for a single fuel switch, £30 if you switch both fuels. Cashback is paid into your bank account around three months after switching. It will appear as "EnergyClubCashbk". You can get cashback once every 12 months, per household.
If you've not received your cashback and it's been at least three months since you switched, please email energyclub@moneysavingexpert.com and we'll chase it for you.0 -
Switched to sp on 26nov and have recieved cashback in bank today 31jan. So in my case no, its not a con. Thankfully.GooliesOfFire wrote: »Is this Cashback a con then?0 -
Similar, applied to switch in November, switch went through in December, cashback email at the beginning of Jan, cash in bank a few days later.
Maybe it depends on which company you are switching to as to how long it takes? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Mine finally turned up in the bank several weeks after the email but it got there in the end.......0

It might be worth posting which company you switched to as i'm in the same boat after switch to M&S Energy (SSE).0

I got the "Hurrah! Your energy switch is in progress" email on 19th December and the cashback appeared in my account on 28th March.0
