Stupid Parking Co. admit the truth.

I'm obliged to a new poster over at Pepipoo for this little gem. He received a ticket from ATC & Auto Ticketing Company in Bristol. As I'm not a million miles from that City I had a little look see at their website. https://www.atcbristol.com. So far so cheesy. They use the word ethical. Not the first parking co. to do that. Checking the about ATC page I notice this nice little paragraph.
'No site is too big or too small to benefit from our service, and most importantly, normally there is no charge for our routine parking management. We derive our income principally from the drivers of the vehicles on which we serve Parking Charge Notices.'
There you go. Not reclaim their losses but derive their income. It's a shame they seem such a tinpot outfit and, it seems from others investigations, not BPA members. Even POPLA couldn't overlook that admission.....could they?

Director of that company is Adrian (Robert) Knight

and ATC dissolved in October 2013 - so if anyone is actively receiving tickets they should contact the insolvency service.

@ 4consumerrights Hmm. Poster's ticket is dated 6th Jan 2014. Their website looks to have been updated 2014 and if you click on the self ticketing sub header it says.
For more information call Adrian on 07774 710016

Adrian lives in the Clifton area also.........
Viewed info on Pepipoo - the OP NEEDS TO DELETE PERSONAL INFO ASAP!
The siganage at the bottom gives the company registration number as
03727045 which relates to a ATC Construction & Build Ltd based in Lancashire - I'm sure they'll be delighted that another company are using their ATC initials and company registration to carry on a business which has now been dissolved.!

I knew I'd come across this fellow before.
One of his other companies was Parking Justice Ltd - a nacent appeals body perhaps intended to act in place of POPLA. That too was dissolved in the latter part of 2013. According to my best endeavours he has no active companies registered regardless of which of his Bristol or Bath addresses you use.My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0
