Faulty Replacement Double Glazing Units

I'll try to keep this brief!
I had 4 failed double glazing units that needed replacing, I had them replaced by a local tradesman and about a week later when it rained one of them started leaking in he came back and siliconed it (making a mess to be honest!) and he blamed my UPVC windows.
6 months later and with the wind blowing the rain against them the other 3 started leaking in, at this point I noticed that the windows he replaced actually had thinner profiles than the others, basically he'd put the wrong width windows in.
I contacted the tradesman and he's offered to come round and silicone them, I've declined and asked for the windows to be replaced with the correct one's as should have been done originally, I've not heard from him since.
What are my legal rights? I've just checked my home insurance and I haven't got legal cover.
