Using rpoints link

I am using rpoints link to buy a car insurance from saga and I was surprised it was more expensive by £10. I seem to get a cheaper quote when I use moneysupermarket.com. I am puzzled. I was also thinking of joining quidco and this has put me off, in case the quote is more expensive due to the cash rebate. Also with quidco you have to pay £5 subscription, what happens if you do not use it that much.?Thanks

I only started using Quidco this year & have had £210 already in my bank account for my wife's car insurance & our house insurance. I'm expecting another £100 or so next month from my own car insurance. Policies were all with Prudential which was £5-£10 more than I could have got elsewhere but with a total return of more than £300 it was an easy choice to make for me. The £5 quidco subscription again is nothing compared to what I've had back. Weigh up the pros & cons & decide if it's for you.

Thanks, I think I will join Quidco. I did the search using moneysupermarket.com and saved my quote and then will use the link to buy through quidco by retrieving my saved quote which was about £50 cheaper. I will see whether it will work as I will not lose anything. I guess, I can join but will be buying the car and buildings & contents insurances in my husband name.
