wonder if someone can help!

Hi, Im 21 years old and live in a rented flat with my girlfriend (22). I was wondering if there are any benefits or things i can claim.

I earn £250 a week before tax, she earns £1079 a month before tax.

We live in somerset in a flat which we pay £530 a month in rent

i am a part time student studinging a thatching NVQ qualification which requires me to attend collage near northampton for 1 week every month, for 6 months, during the winter (ie starting in october i go for 1 week, then a week in november, then 1 in december and so on for 6 months, confusing i know!) In the time i am not at collage i work 5 days a week with my employer.

My girlfriend works in the local hospital and is a health care assistant.

If there is any more information you need to help then please contact me.

Thanks in advance for anybody who trys to help, it will be much appreciated.

Check entitledto.com, but I believe you both earn far too much!

Just checked your figures, unless you have children you are not entitled to any benefits.

I do believe, you can't get Tax Credits under the age of 25 anyway, unless you have children.

When you get to this age though, you are both on low wages.. so perhaps you could apply then - unless you have children in the mean time :D

For the current year, they earn too much even if they were over 25!
