Paper Shares Certificate in US Company - Advice?

I have a paper certificate issued to me by my employer who is a US based company and would like to sell some of the shares to reinvest in other markets UK/International on perhaps a regular basis. I am pretty new to the world of shares so excuse my lack of knowledge, simply trying to get my foot in the door.
So far, i have spoken to only Hargreaves Lansdown who advised that i will need to send the shares into them and will a W-8BEN form for a reduced US tax of 15%. They'll then put the holdings into a Vantage account and i can begin trading and to avoid CGT they advised to make use of a Stock/Shares ISA.
It seems pretty straightforward, but i'd like to ask the experienced users on this forum on the best way to go about setting up and if you have any alternative suggestions or recommendations.
