PS&P Ltd - Notification of Court Proceedings

Hello Forum,
I have been receiving letters for the past 3 or 4 years from PS&P Ltd, demanding payment for an alleged parking offence committed at my local Sainsburys.
This week, the style changed and I received a "Notification of Court Proceedings" letter which states that seven days from the date of the letter, they intend to apply for a summons to be issued against me for non-payment of £116.00.
From a brief look at the forum today, I see that the advise has changed as to how to manage these letters.
Appreciate any advice as to how to proceed.

For something that old the old advice of Ignore still applies. They are fishing and it is almost certain that they will NOT be raising court action for old claims.
A quick search threw up this thread - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/63278294#Comment_632782940 -
Thanks for the info bod 1467
At what stage do I need to take notice? (if and when) - a link to a previous thread would be fine0 -
No links from me, I rarely so because honestly, it doesn't help you if you can't find you way around the forum. MSE will not work best for you if you can't use a search facility to find info (believe me it is easy and worth it).
Search the forum for 'PS&P collector' as keywords.
There's a thread from today about this and another 6 from the past week. Exactly the same as your letter. If unsure how to search the forum (using the 'search this forum' heading next to 'forum tools' above page one of threads) please ask for help after giving it a go.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
