Loan Interest Refund - closed loan Barclays

Hmm. I have received a cheque from Barclays. The letter with it states it is for interest charged on a loan which has been closed. Anyone else had this??? I don't quite understand what it is for but am very grateful for it especially at the moment!

When you say closed, do you mean paid off in full?

I can remember reading about this possible refund last year but from what the reports said my old loans (all paid off 2+ years back) were not in the bracket. Fast forward to today.
