Hi
My ipad which has been working perfectly started giving the safari can't connect to server on a few occasions over the past couple of days. It only happened on a search.
Last night it became a permanent fixture, no emails, internet anything that requires a server. Still the same today.
My laptop which I'm using to send this is unaffected and I've rebooted the router several times anyway.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated thanks

If you go into settings (first screen - grey icon) what does it show under Wi-Fi (second setting on the left) ?I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
The button is on green as usual and underneath is Netgear 1 and it's buffering to the left of Netgear0

Either tell the iPad to 'forget this network', then reconnect to it, putting your network password in again, or reset the iPad. Hold down power and home keys for 5 secs or until you see Apple logo on screen0

Thanks will try that
My OH had already reset the ipad and the other suggestion didn't work either I'm afraid0 -
Also check how many apps you are running - you might be low on memory which could cause a problem with safari.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0 -
Thanks
I had already checked that and there is loads of memory.
We found another instruction online which has worked
as follows
switch airport mode on go to general reset reset network settings reconnect router, put in passwords and voila. I have to say if my OH could do it then it must have been simple as he usually leaves it all to me
Thanks for all your help everyone0
