Advice needed; parking fine in Manchester

Hi all; I have been at my place of work for over 3 years and never had any trouble parking behind the premises, but within the last few months I have received 3 different parking tickets, issued by CPMS, a Manchester-based private parking company. The original notice, demanding a payment of £100 or £60 if paid within 7 days, says nothing of council authority and to be honest, looks pretty shoddy and hardly legally-binding. From what I gather, CPMS claims to be a member of the BPA (British Parking Association) but I have found information which suggests that they are no longer a trading company.
I ignored the notices and then received a "Notice to Keeper" for each of the 3 notices, claiming that CPMS had requested my details from the DVLA and urged me to pay up. The letters also stated that if I failed to make payment, then the matter would be handed to Debt Recovery Plus Ltd. So I thought so be it; this is clearly a scam with no legal relevance.
I have now received 3 separate letters from Debt Recovery Plus Ltd, who are demanding that I pay an unpaid parking charge of £149 for each of my 3 parking offenses, and that if I fail to do so, then they "will recommend to the creditor's solicitor that court action should be taken to recover what you (I) owe". It then goes on to say that additional amounts such as court fees and such will be payable if the case goes to court.
Should I continue to ignore their contact or is there something else that I should do to avoid paying up?
If anyone knows how I can resolve this issue then I would be so grateful; thanks.

have you read the sticky thread called NEWBIES - READ THIS FIRST ?
if so you would know what can be done as this crops up daily on here
DR+ is clearly listed in there
ps:- these are not FINES, they are parking charges from a private company for parking on private land0 -
CPMS still showing on BPA AOS, but links to their website throws up an error message. Google does no better.
But, whatever, do not ignore, work through the NEWBIES sticky on the basis that they still exist, and are potentially 'dangerous'.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

After you have read the stuff about debt collectors and your options (in the Newbies sticky) also search the forum please for the keyword 'Recovery'. You probably didn't see that we have threads every single day about these letters and the advice is the same. Reading other threads like yours will help you see where you are with it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
