I am looking at parking at Manchester airport - in the past I have used an off-site company in Sharston, but have seen "Meet and Greet" now being offered at a similar price.
Has anyone used this service at Manchester airport? What did you think of it?

We used it in July and found it great. We went from Terminal 2 and the Meet and Greet we used was Manchester Airports own service. For the airports own service there is an area in the car park where you go leave your car, give in your keys and then go into airport as normal. Took about 5mins in total. Then when we returned we went back to the car park area, collected the keys from the office and the car was there waiting.
My parents used a different meet and greet service, not sure of the name, and in their case a driver was waiting for them at arrivals. They literally got out of the car, the driver checked the car over and filled in a form which they had to sign (I believe it's to make note of any damage so that they won;t get the blame for it etc) and off they went. On the way back they called when they got to arrivals and the driver brought the car straight to them.
We usually use Jetparks or another car park on Styal Rd and use their mini bus service to get to the airport, but if the price is right then we would definately use meet and greet again in future as it was a lot less stressful. To be honest the Manchester airports own service was no different to parking at the on-site multi storey car park so if the price was the same for that then you could go for either.Lea0 -
I have used this company for about 5 or 6 years. I use them 2 or 3 times a year. You call them when you are 15 minutes from the airport. They meet you at departures and take your car. When you land you call them AFTER you have your baggage and go to DEPARTURES again (not arrivals) and the hand your car back.

Do you pay in advance or when you arrive at airport?0 -
I use the airports own meet and greet and never had an issue. Service was excellent, drop off right outside terminal building 1 minute approx to check in desks0
