Hey all.
As the title says, I've received a letter suggesting that the type of PPI I purchased on loans dating from 2002 was systematically mis-sold.
I met 4 of the mis-sold criteria and have therefore completed the questionnaire on that basis and submitted it.
I initially contacted my bank a couple of years ago as I thought I had PPI on my loans, (no paperwork after so many years), but they advised me that I'd never taken PPI.
Just a matter of waiting now and seeing what happens.
Will keep you updated.

Best of luck with that:beer:, not sure why they denied it initially but I strongly suspect that they were basically trying it on, when you say it was 'a couple of years ago', would it have been by any chance before April 2011?, it all had been a bit up in the air before then and the banks exploited the lack of certainty, the banks tried to block new legislation on how they should sell PPI but they failed, as a result, they then had to start contacting customers who had complained before and even those that hadn't to make them aware that they may have been mis-sold, so this is what I reckon has caused the bank to kinda say...'oh...yeah...actually you have got PPI...silly us...we...errrr....overlooked it....sorry':rotfl:, oh well, ditto, as I say, hope you get the desired result, cheers:).0
