Credit card for student

I have a friend who is a mature student (full time) she is looking to do a balance transfer from her current credit card. Any suggestions which one would accept students. She has a good payment record with her current card but needs to move due to starting to pay interest.

She tried applying for a card with Lloyds, but it would only give her £1k when she needs £2k, any suggestions?
Waddle you do eh?

I don't think she should reject this out-of-hand. This will let her transfer half of what she wants.

Probably not any more as she has likely closed the browser tab and will now get rejected for the next 6 months.
