Irish Bank - Now LLoyds?

Options
Hello

During the crash and my speculating days I invested in a few things (One failure was San Leon Energy!!)..

But I invested a chunk of cash into a large Irish Bank (Forget the name of it).

A couple of weeks after my investment the shares were frozen and I could not trade or do anything with them.

I had thought they had gone the way of my Yell shares (Another poor investment!), but today on my XO account I see these banking shares are on the rise, but are now known as "Permanent tsb Group Holdings PLC (IPM.I)"

So, I guess the bank had been rescued and I can now trade the shares?? They appear to be on the rise, so may keep hold of them now we are all enjoying this recovery journey led by the brilliant running of the country at the moment?

Hmm. Sorry, but if this is anything to go by, i suspect investing may not be for you.

    Nothing to do with Lloyds/TSB:

Tradeable perhaps on the Irish Enterprise Securities Market (ESM).

Have you given any thought to collective investments such as funds or investment trusts? If you are having bad luck choosing shares, maybe you'll do better choosing one of those. As I agree, if you can't remember who you are investing in, you need to make a change somewhere?

    Only 1k or 2k a time.
I also have picked some crackers.

BP at the LOW, and my best performer Taylor Wimpy at 20-30p, now at well over £1 and rising.

So at least you've had some luck.

Still worrying you don't remember the name of the bank?
