Did your wife miss a minimum payment?

Most (if not all) CC companies cancel at this point any preferential no-interest agreement.

    Well done!

Intriguing - I wonder if the regulator has looked at your case in isolation, or has asked HSBC to identify all the accounts who fall into the same criteria as yourself and refund inappropriately calculated and charged interest. I would be surprised if you were a "one off".

As I understand the system the regulator's first step to resolve any case is to contact the company and ask for a response to the complaint. In our case &More offered a refund and as we accepted that there will not be a full investigation.

I don't know, perhaps ours was a one off error? I am still annoyed that we got no appology, but my wife doesn't care she is simply looking forward to spending the £152. ................. :T
