If this is the router you bought from ebuyer, I understand it may need a firmware update and also the setting to "remain connected" needs to be ticked.
Edit :- Read the reviews here http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?rb=0&action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X3Jldmlld3M=&product_uid=1276790 -
The advice from cledor was what I discovered by a process of elimination too. If you open up your browser and put http://192.168.2.1/ into the address line, then look at Home Network Settings: Status, then you'll be faced with various numbers and some buttons to "Connect" or "Disconnect".
The main thing to maintain contact seems to be to be to set the connection to "Always connected" in ADSL/Internet Settings: ISP Settings, otherwise there's a 30 minute idle timeout.0 -
There's alway the problem TalkTalk won't fix.
(Apart from the obvious one of atrocious customer service)
Setting MTU to 1400.
google "MTU 1400 talktalk"
There's more info on it somewhere in this forum.0 -

No, that address is the IP address of your router! Why don't you try using the original router again? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
