Fake postage stamps?

It's not clear from the photographs what the differences are however as both stamps have the elliptical security slits I suspect that they are both fine. There are occasionally differences between stamps as Royal Mail uses more than one printer to produce stamps.
If you are unsure then you could scan them side by side and pop them up on somewhere like stampboards.com where collectors would be able to tell you if they are real or not?
