I hear the Heronstone is Lovely or maybe Bridgend Rec, they are sure to have a function room for what you want. If you are planning a big meal, the Golden Well (chinese) on the A48 is big enough for a group of 50 and the staff are great and the food is fab. I know it's not bridgend but it's not far and we went to a friends anniversary party at the Hi-Tide in Porthcawl, it's done out really nice, it's clean and smart and right on the sea front for a romantic walk after!

The Seabank in Porthcawl have a room out that they hire out I think, I used to go to dance classes there a few years ago.0
