Birmingham City Council Bus Stop fine

Hi dear MSErs
A Happy New year fine from Birmingham City Council!
My husband dropped me off a New St Station on New Years day. Due to all the works in the area, the only visible place to stop was a Bus Stop (no buses). I did actually tell hubby NOT to stop, but as he was driving, it was too late as he has already entered the sacred 'BUS STOP' area!!!!!
Has anyone managed to appeal against BCC for bus lanes and win? Its £30 fine if paid in 14 days.
Many thanks lovely people!!

You need specialist 'Council Fines' forum advice. MSE specialises in private parking charges. PePiPoo has regular contributors who know their way around the council issued variety, so suggest you open a new thread over there.
You need to copy all sides of any paperwork you've already received, otherwise you might get overlooked.
Here's the link you need:

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
