Terms and Conditions
- This prize entitles the winner to one place in a four-ball 18 hole round of golf at Royal Aberdeen on 4 September 2007 with golf professional Paul Lawrie.
- Green fees will be paid and lunch will be provided before or after the event. The winner is solely responsible for any other expenses not specified in the prize description.
- The competition is open to all UK residents who are members of UK golf clubs. Entrants must have a golfing handicap of 18 or less, which must be certified by their golf club.
- Employees and immediate family members of employees of First ScotRail Ltd, or its subsidiary operating companies or agents are not eligible to enter the competition.Entrants must be 18 years of age or over
- By entering this competition entrants will be deemed to have read and understood these rules and to be bound by them.
- The prize may not be exchanged or transferred and no cash alternative will be offered.
- Closing date for all entries is the 30 June 2007.
- The winner will be notified by Wednesday 4 July 2007.
- No responsibility will be taken for entries that are illegible, defaced, misdirected, lost or received after the closing date.
- The winner’s name will be selected in a random draw from all correct answers received.
- When contacted the winner will be required to comply with the terms and conditions, provide a full name, address and contact details and supply a handicap certificate to First ScotRail Ltd within seven days. The winner will be required to participate in publicity connected with this promotion if requested.
- If the winner cannot meet these conditions or cannot be traced after reasonable efforts made by First ScotRail Ltd then First ScotRail Ltd may dispose of the prize as it thinks fit without any liability to the winner.
- First ScotRail Ltd reserves the absolute right to disqualify any entrant.
- All decisions of First ScotRail Ltd are final and binding. Details of the winner will be available to participants upon written request after 13 July 2007, but no other correspondence can be entered into.
