Searches for Credit Cards not on Noddle?

Hi,

My Fianc!e and I both signed up for Noddle (no particular reason, just wanted to check everything was okay, hence why I didn't pay for Experian or Equifax).

Now I have a credit card, my Fianc!e has two credit cards (albeit one very recent, so I'm not worried about that one). We also have a joint Santander 123 account, and a Nationwide FlexAccount each.

I was told upon applying for all of these that a credit check would be carried out, which is fine. However, under the "search history" section of Noddle, NONE of these appear on either of our files. In fact, for both of us, the only searches visible are insurances. We are both fairly new to credit (first credit card was opened in June 2013) so we don't really know if this is normal.

Will these searches show up on Equifax or Experian?

Noddle, who use CallCredit to get the file, are not as frequently used as Experian and Equifax. It is more than likely searches shall be recorded with both of the other two, most likely Equifax.

I don't think it did, F1F93. Noddle don't just use CallCredit. They ARE CallCredit. (At the bottom of the page on their website it says "© 2014 Noddle. All rights reserved. Part of Callcredit Information Group."). And whilst they have long been known as the also ran 3rd CRA, they seem far more active in trading in historical data. And two months or so ago when a fraudulent credit card account was opened by a big card provider in my name it was first notified to Experian simply as a new agreement application but then as a confirmed new agreement, and also notified as a confirmed new agreement to CallCredit. But Equifax still show nothing whatsoever about it.

Yes that thread is now a confused mess and trying to get any certainty out of it is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Why don't you update it for the benefit of all with a note of who Experian has agreements with, James ? Or would that be commercially and politically too sensitive for words?
