Credit Report CCJ expiration

Hi all,

I have read that after 6yrs (if paid) any CCJ's will be taken off your credit report - but my situation is this - I have only just seen that there was a CCJ added to my file 5yrs and 8months ago (meaning this April it will be 6yrs) If I pay this off say this month... will it go off my file in April... or will it stay on there for another 6yrs?

Thanks in advance for your help :)

Regards
Steph

    Hi
A CCJ will drop off your credit file 6 years after the judgement date whether paid or not.
