Going to end up with positive balance - what to do?

Thanks to a series of payments, some unexpected refunds a an unexpected direct debit payment, I've ended up with a positive balance on my credit card. I did a balance transfer yesterday from a Nationwide cc. I didn't transfer the full amount, so then made an online payment for the remainder.
Today Nationwide has pulled a direct debit for the minimum payment. I wasn't expecting this as (a) there was no active direct debit listed when I checked my bank online, and (b) I'd already made a payment for more than the minimum a few days ago (and they have received it). Then I got some unexpected refunds. All the various payments arrived today and have put a positive balance on the card. What can I do about this, or what are Nationwide likely to do? Spending the positive balance isn't an option as I'm not in the UK.

Wait until you can back and spend it in UK.
Spend it abroad.

If I suspected there was a problem with my credit card company I'd contact them. If you don't want to call, use secure messaging or online chat, if they have it. Point out that you didn't expect the DD to go through and when you expect to be out of the black. I hired cars regularly at one point and they took a £300 fee. Paying off my card whilst waiting for fee(s) back had to be dealt with carefully to avoid a situation like that with refunds.0
