HELP I have received a debt collection letter for a PCN from junk 2008

I today have received a letter dated 3.01.2014 demanding 155 pound for a PCN I know nothing about in an area I moved out of in December 09
Do I have to pay by 10th how can I dispute
Any advice much appreciated

I believe they are acting on behalf of Newham council the debt recovery agent is rose dales collect
Says warrant of execution authorized by traffic enforcement centre at Northampton county court for above contravention 25 July 2008

noticed a few of these over the last few days on here

they seemed to suggest that the dates meant they were out of time for enforcement, if that helps, but to check with the councils etc first ? ( I assume they were council and not private pcn`s ? )

Search the forum for Rossendales to read the recent threads just like this. You do need to ring the Council and complain about Rossendales as they seem to have started the New Year with a bang, going after very old cases from 2008/2009 and yet allegedly with no current warrant.

There are loads of threads like yours in the first few pages here so read them first and ring the Council.

I hope Herbie (bailiffadviceonline) is aware of Rossendales latest tricks. I expect so as she does have her finger on the bailiff pulse!
