All the viri are basically apps that have been hacked or from unknown sources so far .
But as every TD&H is buying tablets and smartphone its makes a whole heap of sense for the bad guys to start targeting them .Mobile web sites email etc are all vulnerable just as on a PC .
But most of the problems are typical user clicks something or replies to a bank email asking them for passwords .That will get to be a far bigger problem with tablet users many of who will be unaware .0 -

the simple answer is . YES.

You don't need antivirus or anything like that with an iPhone/iPod or an iPad.0
