Capital One Secured Card

Does anyone know if Capital One is in any way still issuing their secured card? I need a chip and pin credit card, but I can't get a credit card because I am so new to the UK. I know there are still references to it on their website, but the application link is gone and I heard it is back to invitation only? I'm not sure.

You have to apply for one of their normal cards first. If you are declined you will then be offered a secured card if your eligible.

    Hope this helps

Hi, thanks for the reply! They want the past two years of your address, but I can't enter my US address because it says the format is wrong. Should I just put I've been at my address for 2 years in order to avoid this?

I wouldn't put incorrect information on a credit application.

You may find they won't accept applicants that don't have at least 2 years UK credit history - but perhaps call them and ask their advice about filling in the application form or whether you can do the application by phone.
