    Random question

Do you mainland folks call M&S "Marksies" or is that a Norn Iron thing?

Eg. I am going to Marksies at lunchtime to get a meal deal

Hi mate, What they offer online is what you'll get instore. It's all second hand to them even if it's brand new. The prices they give is pretty good though, I have a few bits I managed to find in T's and they're offering a lot more than I paid for them. :D

Scamps, I don't suppose you know how long those prices stick for do you?
I grabbed a couple of cheapy games from Ts and want to trade them up for a pokemon game for DS (yes I know CEX is over priced!) and am hoping the trade in price doesn't drop before I can finally get in store.
Are they known to plummet or do they usually just go down slowly over time?
I know you may not have the answer, you just seem to have a bit more experience with them than me :)
    Thanx :)

You can check online the day you go to sell and that's what they'll give you as that's how they themselves get their prices. HTH

Right, I'm off to make a few bucks. See you laters. :D

I went to T tonight to buy the Velvet toilet roll and Plenty kitchen roll and the SA basically accused me of photocopying the coupons! I said they were printed from their own website and he asked for the URL as he didn't believe there was such a website! I said I resented being accused and he said he used the word suspected. He wouldn't let me get a magazine and use the coupons from there as it was one use per customer. He then asked if I had bought any Ristorante pizzas again as the coupons I used earlier today had been rejected because they had the same barcode. I had more on me and showed them the unique codes but he just said he couldn't read them. I've obviously been remembered from earlier today so my cards have been marked. I was so annoyed I didn't get his name. Do you think it'd be worth phoning customer services? Will A accept the Ristorante coupon without a fuss?

I phoned customer service and they confirmed I can use as many vouchers as I want so long as it's one per product so if I have 10 vouchers I can buy 10 packs of toilet rolls!:rotfl:

Even so I don't think I'll return to that store for a long time! I need Pattylabelle to fight my corner for me.
