I just wish mum would (sorry if this upsets anyone) stop going on about dying.

Bro not been in touch and wished her Happy Birthday or sent her card present. So I get mum saying she may not be here for next birthday.

Every weekend she says more than once stupid things like I may find her dead when I go next time or I would sit watching football instead of watching her die  . I have told her not to be so daft but she doesn't listen.

I have asked DS if she talks like this to him and he says no and feels sorry for me having to put up with her.

I only have mum DS and my bro. So it gets to me mum keep going on at me. Its not my fault bro not been in touch but she always makes things sound as tho its my fault.

I am not that close to bro but we do speak and I see him on the odd occasion he visits mum when I am there. But he only stays 10 mins .

That probably makes no sense at all :rotfl:but you did tell me to post :D

Half time :footie: going making a :coffee:

    Makes complete sense tweets.

I lost count when my mum was here how many times she told me I might not be here next birthday, xmas etc. But believe me she was around for loads more than when she first said it. I think it's part of the reality hitting of getting older and unfortunately the ones closest are the ones who people feel most comfortable sharing their thoughts with.

Don't take it as she is keeping on, and I know what that feels like having been a 24/7 carer but look at it as you are the one she is confiding her worries to because you are there for her. :A

Not, not at all ... after all, you didn't mention from which part of the body (which would have been too much information:rotfl:).

    You would love this information!!
 Just rang Tosco (before checking receipt properly) to ask why I didn't get a PP for my 3 pks of Finest Burgers. How embarrased was I when checking my receipt properly I hadn't scanned them :o I wanted to shrivel up & hide :o
That will teach my to open my mouth before engaging brain!!!

My Dad used to say "I'll not see next Christmas" said it year on year for 4 years and one year he was right at the age of 48. Got to happen sometime when your time is up it's up. Cherish every moment :)
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

that is a good idea will see what is on offer round here thanks

thanks will have to ask school they have told the pupils 3 lists choose one of each study over 2 years no other choices so seems very limited.. when my other 3 where at the school their was better choices, but it seems to have changed

I just read your other post and feel for him....to know exactly what he wants and not be able to do them must be very frustrating for him.....def worth talking to the school as they might not have the timetables set in stone yet- until they know how many kids want to study each subject?

My DD didnt get the subjects she wanted but thoroughly enjoyed the ones she ended up with..... a life lesson too methinks one way or another he will learn to research all other options/opportunities or learn that life sometimes throws lemons at us ......he might like the lemonade he will make from them:rotfl::rotfl:

Hi all! Not sure if this is just my local store but loads of stuff in the herbs/sauces/oils aisle has been RTC 50% or more.

    Knorr stock pots fish £1.50 to 75p B/C 8 712566 479405
    Tesco Turmeric 95p to 50p B/C 0301 3496
    Aunt Bessie's gravy granules 70p from £1.40
    Saxo Sea Salt 20p
    Tesco Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil £1.25 5 B/C 051008 878592
    Saffron £3 to £1.50 5 031021 125910
also Flora 2 litre veg oil was £1.75 from £3.75. Seemed the best reduction. This stuff is £3.29 in The Asdal

Lots of other stuff. I took some pics which I will post if anyone can confirm if nationwide...

Not sure if anyone else has answered yet as I am just catching up but I think this must be nationwide. I definitely remember seeing turmeric and ground cumin reduced in my store this morning. Was in the usual place, not the reduced section.
