I just wish mum would (sorry if this upsets anyone) stop going on about dying.
Bro not been in touch and wished her Happy Birthday or sent her card present. So I get mum saying she may not be here for next birthday.
Every weekend she says more than once stupid things like I may find her dead when I go next time or I would sit watching football instead of watching her die  . I have told her not to be so daft but she doesn't listen.
I have asked DS if she talks like this to him and he says no and feels sorry for me having to put up with her.
I only have mum DS and my bro. So it gets to me mum keep going on at me. Its not my fault bro not been in touch but she always makes things sound as tho its my fault.
I am not that close to bro but we do speak and I see him on the odd occasion he visits mum when I am there. But he only stays 10 mins .
That probably makes no sense at all :rotfl:but you did tell me to post
Half time :footie: going making a :coffee:0 -

went from a quite lazy day in to a hectic one,
started when ds2 tripped with a bowl of cereal and redecorated the entire kitchen with it:eek: up the walls over the oven everywhere.
then oh says we need to get a trailer of hay, as ds2 of college to help, but the yard road was to wet so we had to unload trailer on the road and carry to the barn with tractor bucket,
then oh dropped his dentures in a water butt:rotfl: (only has them as horse broke his teeth)
finally ds3 gets home in a bad mood as cant take the options he wants at school he wanted IT, technology, geography and french but can only take 3 options and if he does IT and technology he cant do either french or geography for a 14 year old that has his future mapped out including college and uni it was a bit of a blow and he is very unhappy is it usual to get such a rubish choice
worse i never got to any shops:(

Perhaps he could do one of the subjects at night school?0 -

rhosynbach wrote: »thanks ds3 wants to find a school with better option choices and where he can take 4 instead of 3 i told him they are all the same but think i am being proved wrong, hopefully he will change his mind over the next few weeks.:p
schools even within the same education authority here differ in their choices system. Most schools will have such info on their websites...some schools insist that a language is taken to GCSE level others dont -leaving a space for another subject?.
it's a very difficult sometime stressful thing to make those choices ....been there twice and they were both very different systems even though schools were within half a mile! One taught all options over 2 years, the other did 2 options in one year then the other two options the final year...one had a more restricted range but offered AS for some subjects....perhaps your DS might have that option?
oh hello btw !! hope you are well!:AYNWA JFT96 :A0 -

ilovetoshop wrote: »Apparently it can change from year to year as last year my sons school did it on graph choices and you could only choose things from certain sections from matching lines( way over my head ) and left a lot of children disappointed . Thank god they changed it for my sons year..I think my son is very lucky in what as he chose as he has had the chance to do subjects he enjoys out of school.
He is doing
English
Math
Science
Ict
Photography
Geography
Design and technology
Sport
As he had a big input into what he chose instead of it being structured choices he is really enjoying what he does and it makes a big difference.
sounds better than ds3 school and he would love to do photography he has 3 lists has chosen IT and technology from 2 but most of what he wants to do is in the same list.. he has one list with agriculture, health and social, electronics. marine engineering, work studies, or history none which he wants to do, think the next 2 years may be hard,0 -
Am I the only one who thinks these little Cushelle Koalas are actually quite cute.
Mine arrived today thanks OP.
(I'm doing terrible job of remembering OPs lately and too lazy to look back.)
If you all stop squashing their faces with the plastic bags they come in they do look much better honestly.
I think mine is cute he's called Cusheyand an Elite friend sent him to me :A

Evening all
Hope everyone has had a good day.
Scamps, I have learned in life that there is really nothing more weird than coincidences that happen, keep your chin up, hugs.
I could do with a few good vibes being sent my way tomorrow, have a hospital appointment at RA clinic, am pretty sure it's going to end up with both hands having steroid injections, probably fluid drained from knee and another steroid injection there. Have to go by myself as DH & DS working and DD can't get there, just hope I don't pass out
Burgers were working in T's tonight my PP was £5.96 but OH was putting stuff in the trolley, so I suppose I'm lucky it was only 4p short :rotfl:
Would still appreciate the cooking gammon in cook recipe/tips and if anyone could pm it would be much appreciated 'cos I am struggling with mouse and keyboard the state my hands are in atm.
Have a great evening
Hello pasipha....yes...sending positive vibes your way. Good luck for tomorrow.
I haven't tried the gammon in coke simply because I love the ham stock and use it to make broth. I think people are just cooking it slowly covered in coke. Anyone?:)To do is to be. Rousseau
