We are not going out for food tonight just ordered a beef curry, waiting for delivery yum yum!!!

When I'm in a hotel I do take aways or sandwiches as I hate eating on my own in public. :p:p

I can imagine it being tiring doing it too much even with hubby, as you cannot relax properly. Enjoy the curry x

    Has Hubby recovered? :D:D

Edit - did not realise I had pressed the double bubble! Sorry x

Sorry! Already answered - I was too slow!
  • We had a coat hanger for an Ariel in our caravan ( because it worked better) and when the battery was flat Dad put it on charge by putting it in the car and driving around the block:rotfl:

We also had a spectrum zx I think it was... Tape loaded computer that had a joy stick connected to a black and white tv.... Very difficult to play snooker on:rotfl:
Kids today don't know how lucky they are!!!

Oh and I'm not 40 for a couple more years :rotfl:

I bought a Commodore Vic 20 with my birthday money when I was 16 :D. Before that my father came home with a Pong game for the TV, and we always had to put the TV on 10 minutes before we wanted to watch anything so it could warm up and we had to twiddle knobs on the back to straighten the picture out :rotfl::rotfl:

And I was absolutely delighted with my 18th birthday present, a very new and modern credit card sized calculator :D
You was and I really appreciate the help

    I information need in this format 1 + 1 = 2 and not a + b = c

    As I am thick!

    :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Can't resist, I know I really should not say this, but that would be 2a = c or something along those lines:)

we needed new flooring for our hallway, so we started our search in wickes. there was 3 packs of flooring reduced to clear as there was no packaging. selling price today was £35 per pack, it was reduced to £19 per pack. dw said to me "its reduced as there is no packaging but this one has some slight damage as well"
so I asked to see a manager to see if he would knock a little more off because of this. I was pushing it really as damage would not show after fitting. I would have been happy for him to reduce 1 pack by another £2. but he knocked all 3 down again to £10. my wife cringed when I asked him for another spare board they had so I could replace the damaged bits. again he said ok. :j
I needed the extra board as I only just had enough without it. you always need a little extra to allow for cuts.
so all in all I got £100 of flooring for £30. :T
now the bad bit. dw wants me to lay it tomorrow.
right just off to eat my dinner now. its not any old dinner, its an m&s dinner.

He is a bit better thanks but is complaining he is breathless so might end up at the docs, for him to say this he must feel odd.

    :(

We have a neighbour's cat pushing her self on to us.

She is lovely & called Angel  (I refer to her as Angle)
Her owner works nights & the poor cat seems to spend 24/7 outside :(

Bryn hates her & regularly sees her off but she is like Tigger & just bounces back into garden the second you open the back door.
Talked to neighbour & found out she isn't spayed & they can't afford to get her done
So I've arranged a spaying voucher to be sent to her with her cooperation & permission, fingers crossed she is done soon.
Last thing I need is a litter of kittens living in my bird table
