Christmas circa 1979/1980 me and my brother had a joint pressie...it was a black and white portable TV with a dial knob to tune the channels in. We were beside ourselves with excitement :T

Had planned to go to M&S and use vouchers but that will make my fast day unbearable opening the fridge and seeing all kinds of yummy stuff!! So instead, I've stocked up on grapes, pineapples and yogurts for tomo:D
I bought 2 pineapples cos I want that pineapple corerwill get another pineapple next week.
I found it really hard at first but by about 5pm I was over the worst, I know if I had eaten I would have wanted more so didn't have a meal til gone 9pm not sure if that is ok to do or not, I just snacked on grapes rest of day, oh and sucked on my 35 cal sweet for as long as I could.
I have plenty of healthy stuff in always do but have loads of junk too which I have now added to today.0 -

Crikey, you must have been rich!!!! I remember my mum and dad rented their B&W tv (14 '' i think) for years, or so it seemed. I can still remember it exactly and it did have the ring aerial on that you had to move. Did you have one of those ring ariels that you had to keep moving?

Typing 00011010010100101010101 for 8 hours a day! It was horrendous and I was rubbish! I always kept getting the 0 and 1 in the wrong order!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
