Just trying to catch up an see I missed the king size mattress, could do with one of these as mine has a bum shaped indent where I sleep and don't like the other side.
Had a bit of a calamity yesterday.
When to Mr Shoes for a little look, lots of empty shelves, but didn't really want anything.
Next thing I know, goes !!!! over tit and land front side down flat on the floor with a huge crash
Two assistants came running to help and called the first aider as I went into shock and quite badly cut and bashed ankle and knee on good leg
.
Established that my foot had caught under the metal base of a shelving unit which was sticking out because all the shelving had been removed as they were rearranging stock
They quickly put cardboard display stands round the metal base and heared them ask security to find the CTV clip of me falling.
They completed an accident report form, cleaned and dressed my wounds and offered to call an ambulance or order me a taxi home.
Sure nothing is broken, but very sore, bruised and cut on top of ankle keeps opening when I move.
Refused hospital and taxi no good as didn't want to leave car at deserted retail park overnight.
Asked me to give them a ring to let them know how I was, but didn't feel up to it todayand think they should have offered to ring me.
I think you should write to HO. They should offer you compensation! Hope you are feeling better soon.0 -
The madness in me of this last week of 'the hunt' for bargains
I've finally burnt out & spent today returning an awful lot of items I had hunted down & bought ~ Games, DVDs & strange electrical cables & parts because they were cheap
At least another customer can purchase them at a bargain price
I got some cables too for 25p each. I knew what most of them were apart from two and I trotted off to the tech dept to ask for advice. Told man not to laugh at me...!! He was really nice and gave me excellent advice. I returned the two I'd not been sure about...0 -

That was a favourite of my niece, when she was little - too young to understand it, really, but she loved how it would send the adults into fits of laughter.'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

Trouble is....finding ladies trousers with 34 inside leg......unless you go to the 'posh' over priced shops
I'm also 5t 10 with a 36 inside leg so I feel your pain. My youngest son is 6ft 5ins now and it's so nice to feel small for once. I fit under his chin and it's really weird, but he is lovely to get a big bear hug from.0 -
