Feeling a bit better now. DD is doing Mum today so I am just doing housework. 6 months will soon pass and in the meantime i can get my office ready and do a few other things. I have also sorted out a couple of games and blue rays I got in tesco last week to go back. I will survive but must stick to my healthy eating and not let it derail me. oh sent me a couple of fat photos last night and i remember why I did it now.

Rose have you thought of taking them to CEX if you have one local, I duplicated 3 of mine just in case but nobody wanted them so I checked what they were worth online, first time I have ever made a profit on anything in my life. :T

Sorry to hear about your exam but you are right 6 months will soon go by. xx

i am sitting here in tears. I went on a Cambridge training course last week to be a counsellor and have just failed my test. apparently cause i got 70% i cant retake for 6 months. Such a shame as I had people waiting to be my customers and had hope for a new income from it. I feel so stupid cause i got some simple answers slightly wrong. What with this and the fight with my sister I feel really down. I also have a couple of people including my building society breathing down my neck about money.[/QUOTE

Oh rose, feel for you, sending you hugs x

Hugs Rose, Hope you feel brighter soon.
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

Oh and I forgot to mention - in my local Shell fuel station they had a promotion whereby if you bought 2 items listed you got 5p/litre off....I cannot remember the entire list but it did include Buxton water, Relentless, wine gums, liquorice allsorts, giant buttons, jelly babies....
in theory, when deducting the 5p/litre, I bought 2 packets of sweets (as the boyf insists on sweets for car journeys so I always have to have a stash in the car) for about 80p - I presume this could be cheaper if buying the Buxton water, and if people have larger petrol tanks maybe you could actually save money by buying them??

Ofcourse I do not know if this is nation wide but thought it would have been with it been Shell...

Hi s12s, could you post your APG results please :)

I bought some mullers the other day. There is still a small glitch on them.Discounts for 10 are showing at £1.44and 33p so they work out 23.7p each

Also I have a m & s coupon for next week to be recycled.
  • rose28454 - so sorry you failed your exam. I always believe that everything happens for a reason, no idea what the reason for that is but maybe a great opportunity will come up. It doesn't help your situation, but in 6 months I am sure you will ace it.

ekroys17 - I have been with First Direct almost ever since they went online, I have never had a problem with them, and when there was some suspicious activity on my account they got straight in touch with me, someone had got hold of my card details and were trying to spend with it, but they put a quick stop to it.

Thanks, I think I have 8 vouchers so was thinking about 2 lots of 4 so I'll just need to come up with some ideas to get from £12 to £20. I did think about chucking a warburtons or two in as well.

A lot of people buy items of clothing that turn out not to fit :D
