I can remember using the £5 off Boots Time Delay vouchers from back in the day. They had the "super duper makes you look like a glamorous super model in 2 days" tube of whatever it's face down to £1 each - new packaging. The voucher clearly stated cannot be used on reduced or clearance lines but insisted on SA trying it to see if it worked. It did. So I used all 5 vouchers and ended up with lots of tubes of "super duper makes you look like a glamorous super model in 2 days". Hurrah. Didnt work though because I still look like a dog! LOL.
Same again with the Toni and Guy £5 off voucher - clearly said cannot be used on reduced or clearance items. Used it on the tubs of Erin hair paste which were on clearance to £1 each. Got loads for nothing and took them to the charity shop.
It always helps when you tell the SA she looks really hot or her hair looks really nice. They get embarrassed and you end up with her putting everything through for you - vouchers I mean. Such fun.;);)
The SA in our local Boot's seems to have a right attitude it's a medium size store and only seems to have 2 SA or just seems like that, I doubt she would even attempt to try the voucher even if it said they could be used! I got told before Christmas to read the signs, I was to shocked to reply, why is it that when someone is rude I'm never quick enough to think of a witty reply. Did I miss the Toni and Guy voucher? Or was this from way back? I tried desperately to get the Toni and Guy sets in the sale but failed.0 -
Could any of you give me some advice please?
Have just found out that my 14 yr old son was stupid enough to take his wallet to school yesterday (he needed £2, was running late, so just picked up his wallet). Wallet contained £200 - all of his Xmas and birthday money. He was also idiotic enough to leave it in school changing rooms while he played in a basketball match after school. Needless to say - wallet stolen
He has confessed to DH while they are out, he will be back in approx 30 mins and I am totally furious with him - all kinds of sanctions are running through my mind - grounded for X amount of time/ no more basketball for the rest of school year/has to do chores to the value of the money lost etc etc.
Do you agree that he should be punished for leaving his wallet unattended?
All sensible suggestions considered ....
Thanks for any advice, I am really struggling to rationalise this one. Obviously the thief is to blame, but son does know that things get stolen from school changing rooms. Will ring school tomorrow, but he has told teachers today and I don't think anything can be done xx
I tell you what makes me cross too, if my girl who is also 14 suddenly had £200 more than she had before I WOULD notice, I would notice what she bought and i would ask her where the money came from and it makes my blood boil that there are parents out there who just wouldn't. :mad:I get it that there are thieves about all over the place but I bet he is proper upset himself to have lost it allSo sorry

I did not think that. I work behind the scenes in a retail environment. I do not have the the temperament to serve but the staff often put themselves down. It is a job and those who are good at enjoy the work, so I am sure that not only will you be good at it but happy. So its win win for you and the employer
Ah thanks hun xI try my best. Hehehe.
How is your gorgeous self? Hot as ever? *switt swoo*
Oh yeah, I'm sizzling here :rotfl:
All is fabulous here babe, I've climbed into bed early and now I'm sat here eating choc and watching some old NCIS.
You ok hun? You didn't fancy the boots scrum then?Life is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -

Your post was at 10:04pm, 10 ways post was about 9:20pm
I assumed you both got it elsewhere but they decided to watermark it
If it's yours, then where did they get it from?
I posted it to a few friends, then was busy trying to get a watermark on it to post here, and someone beat me to it :rotfl::rotfl:“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

That's very polite compared with what my Mum said about them when I got her one, I wont say how she described the choc orange one close to something you might find in a messy park! If I get any vouchers again I will have to recycle them I think or food bank but not sure if I can be that cruel0
