Morning all. This virus has knocked me for six today. No energy whatsoever and my whole body aches. I've decided to work from home.
Need to do some writing and send some emails but mainly want to sleep
The virus has had the same effect on me EmmaP - BUT it triggered off an asthma attack on Tuesday night which scared the carp out of me :eek::eek: I don't have asthma and I was literally fighting to breathe. It was horrible - but thanks to some urgent medical treatment with steroids and an inhaler I am getting back to normal now. Take care.
And I have developed a very deep respect for asthma sufferers. You have all my sympathy - wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Missed the morning slot but hope you're all having a good afternoon0 -

Radox didn't work. Such a shame as we have a load of lynx but nothing for us girlies. Oh well we have 4 bottles now!
It didn't compare at all to Tosco btw.
Just had a look in MSM and the Radox at T is on 2 for 1 but 3 of the 6 products in the promotion have a different price.
Is this the type of offer which usually doesn't pick up on APG?0 -

Thanks for trying redrose. I was pretty confident that it would work as the Radox appears on MSM and MSL as 2 for £3 and there have been several other glitches that have worked in similar conditions.
The good thing is you didn't buy too many and you also got them for 90p each which is the cheapest price that they are anywhere.:D0 -

We are writing to you about your recent Boots order.
The response to our 70% off sale has been phenomenal and because of this some of the items you have ordered were unfortunately out of stock when your order reached our warehouse. We apologise for any disappointment this may cause.
Once your order has been processed you will receive an email confirming what will be included in your order. In the event that all the items you have ordered are out of stock we will send you a cancellation email informing you of this. Please be assured you will not be charged for any item(s) we have been unable to send.
Once again we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Regards

Does anybody know if you can add CC points to your account from wombles.
As in the past when I have forgot my CC the SA has said keep your receipt and add them next time.
But I have never bothered trying to add the points at a later date so I was wondering
How you add the points?
TIA
Still catching up so not sure if you have had an answer but T's are quite good (for me anyway) about adding points. Usually say OH/DS didn't take or forgot cardAnd think its a two week limit on dates.

Things a bit fraught in our house. My parents aren't getting on so well of late and my Mum has been talking to me about wanting to leave. She hasn't raised this with my Dad yet but he has a temper.
I said to her I'd back her but obviously she needs to find a job (she had a part time one that she was made redundant from a couple of years ago) and sort out material stuff with my Dad. Me and my sister still live at home as we don't have the funds to do much else. I said she shouldn't worry about us and think about herself for a change but I am worried about where I might live if this all comes to a head.
This has been going on for the last week or so. Don't really know what to do.
Sorry to hear this Emma. I sympathise, parents not getting on doesn't get any easier as you get older unfortunatelyMy parents split when I was an older teenager and it was a horrible time. Well the split was.....after that it was actually a relief! After years of listening to bickering and arguing and trying not to take sides.
I don't know what to say about your living situation. I suppose it will all depend how things pan out for your parents? I think it's probably one of those situations where you just have to take it as it comes.
All I would say is try to not to get stuck in the middle or caught up in their differences if you can avoid it. Easier said than done sometimes, I know. Sometimes there are situations where it's better to get splinters from sitting on the fence0 -
