Well I joined the Sun+ thing last week and I checked that the £1 went out of the account on the 7th, all good but I could not find a direct debit set up.

So I went onto chat today to cancel and I was offered another £10 Tesco gift card if I stayed on for 14 days after the next payment went out, say until mid February. So I wrote this on the calendar to remind me.

The live chat was a bit slow but I triple checked that I would be getting both lots of £10 Tesco gift card.

And then at the end he took my details and said he had successfully cancelled my account - no idea what has gone on now but at least I might have one £10 Tesco card to come and I''ll just have to check to see what happens at the end of he month.

So if my account has been cancelled I can just wait for the next offer to come along and start again but if it hasn't I just do the cancellation in mid February.

I might even do one for OH with his account next time as well as it all seems quite straight forward.

For me I'd rather not draw any more attention to myself. I already received a Christmas card from the sa on ss at my local m&s this year!!

I'm also above radar in 1 store, sa on the ss has invited me to her house to meet her family and rushes out to kiss me when she sees me ??????
    :)

Mine is not a M&S, its ASDA!

I joined with the Primark offer, but I have no idea how long it will take. I think I need to cancel it 10 days before, but need to check when the money is removed from the account

    It is from

    https://www.greenredeem.co.uk

It look about 10 minutes to fill all the bits out and resulted in enough for 3 of the £5 off vouchers.

There is also leaflets in the store that give another £5 off, and people have combined them. But others have had difficulties.

    Enjoy xx

Edit. And people are purchasing the meal deals as the system sees the before price, so two meal deals should reach the £25 min spend.

I was also thinking of Freecycle in the night, make sure you are signed up for all your local ones - even though we are out in the sticks there are 4 over lapping ones around here.

Different Freecycle groups have different rules so check these out.

One of ours says you have to offer something first which is going to be difficult but it could be just a current issue of a magazine or a teddy bear ...

Another of our Freecycle groups says you can only ask for 2 items per month which is a bit restrictive so you just have to think of the 2 most needed items eg a basic TV and some kitchen ware

Make sure in your wanted message you put at the bottom

"Spouse bolted with all household goods and car so I cant collect"

Quite often you will find people will drop things off anyway if they know your circumstances.
In a way you have to bury pride, people do really want to help and there are a lot of people out there who have gone through similar circumstances.

One of our Freecycle groups has a Freecycle caf! which is a hot potch of things but its another good place to go to for help and advice if you have a local one

Scamps I am so sorry to hear what your wife has done, I can't post the language I'm using in real life but suffice to say it's colourful!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Freecycle is good as others have said, also try any local facebook selling pages which offer free items.
