As for OOD food, I never even think about eating brie unless it is at least a month out of date :D Frequently eat OOD yoghurt too. Funnily enough, the things I find suffer most from being OOD are crisps, found a solution to that now that DD has left home - I don't buy them anymore :)

I was a Saturday Boy at a now-defunct supermarket chain, sometimes on the meats counter, and once the prepacked pies were past their sell-by date, we unwrapped them, stuck them in the ovens for a few minutes to warm them up, and sold them as 'Freshly Cooked Today'.:)

I once stood in for someone on cooked meats.....yes Woolworths had a deli:) I couldn't work the scales or the tills so for a full shift I guessed the prices:)

Anyway the good news is that my Yorkies biscuits are in date:)

OoD yogs I have no problems eating or OOD crisps - I am having to eat the flavours other people have left behind.
I've got 2 after 8 eggs to melt down -
not sure what to do with these :)
Our fridge keeps everything at a constant 3 degrees so things last ages in it.
I do have 3 boxes of FF that need re homing though :D

Funny isn't it. Even a few racist posts included in there.:eek:

I didn't bother actually going to the physical sale this year. Saw first hand what a few people did last year. Rugby tackled everyone and emptied the shelves into their trolleys. Didn't see the point of setting off extra early to not get anything. Besides most of the stuff is still quite expensive even when on sale.

    Did you go QOC?
