I cleared my cupboards and fridge of any out of date stuff last week at about 2am in the morning after long discussion with Mr B about my money saving "hobby" as he calls it. He thinks I spend to much effort and time on it. And that there is too much for us to use.

Jeeze if I really went for it he wouldnt get in the door ! :rotfl:

Did the same last week BB - hate throwing stuff away but when I added up roughly what I had spent in real money it didn't seem quite so bad.

Think our OH's are soo lucky - I too am quite restrained :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I dont go mad but there was a few things that were needing chucked.
I still managed a coupon shop at teskies right under his nose ! had a couple of WYS and though would use them up.

I think he prefers the subtle savings !! (like the money we gave to bank for mortgage last week) He does work hard but I know my hobby" helps. That and general attitude to money.

Schlepped round Mt T in Sk1pt0n earlier today, on the hunt for bargains. Very poor:(
No Remington Wet Tech shavers, Portable Sports radios, silicone loaf tins or illuminating kettles; clipstrip stuff scanning at full price, as were the birthday cake number candles.
Didn’t price-check any of the books or DVDs.

Found that funny:rotfl: as just having a clear- up of the "spare bedroom".

That's not the one dedicated as store room for food, or the one that's a study, but the one with double bed for guests - only they would have to climb over stash of BS, Jaffa Cakes, Coke, Tosco Tea Towels Dove Shower Gel, body lotion and deodorant E45Handwash, Wrapping Paper, new boot and bag stash, spare/emergency new boxed 22in TV and various things that might be useful for presents and about 25 rolls of wrapping paper :eek:
Good job I don't know anyone and no one comes to stay;)
