Well, that was weird!!
Just had a call form my wifes niece. Apparently my wife is so heartbroken about the last few days and says she was pushed into all this by her mother, no kidding Einstein!! Been informed that my wife didn't want to leave and she still loves me but had no choice:huh:
She still wants us to have a relationship but without her mother knowing!! I'm 47 and she's 50 for f**ks sake. Her mother has always had a control over her and for this I have always tried to compensate. How the F do I deal with this one???

I would have refused to discuss the matter with anyone except your wife. And you can only talk to your wife if she willing agrees to return half of your bank account and stash.
Basically wife has to chose who she wants to spend the rest of her life with - if its her family, so be it but if its you then she has to totally separate herself - even from her son - assume he is a grown up.
It has to be all or nothing otherwise you will have no life.
If she can't decide then you decide for her - its clean break time, get the finances sorted, get the divorce, move away, change jobs etc
What age is your mil - must be in her 70s?

I agree. If she wants to come back to you then she needs to show it rather than send messages. And she needs to stand up to her mother.
Otherwise it will be on/off /on again like now.

Will you please change any passwords that she may be able to guess. I'm thinking paypal/ online banking/ facebook/ MSE. Anything that could be mis-used. Even something is innocent as here, she could use to find out when you are meeting with someone and use that time to go round your home again.

scamps - clearly you know all the characters involved. If your wife had really loved you she would have told her mother to go to hell and screw any inheritance. She should have been prepared to live in penury with you. She should have let the mother give away her money to cats and dogs home etc. I have to tell you one thing about these old barstewards - they have a funny way of outliving everybody anyway OR you get the dosh so late in life that it is tosh all use to you.

Start getting thoughts of the missus out of your head because what she has done to you has been outrageous. You will meet another woman scamps and you will look back and be glad that your missus is history....she made herself history.

Apologies - misinforming about Pot Noodles not appearing on the APG - I mixed up two different receipts:o:o that both had 2x Micro Burgers on them. I'm working my way through them. The Pot Noodles receipt being checked next:(:(....

You will be very happy when you get that nice big apg:T but you will then have another problem when you go to spend it and choosing the right sa:o and will it scan;)
