    Well, that was weird!!
Just had a call form my wifes niece. Apparently my wife is so heartbroken about the last few days and says she was pushed into all this by her mother, no kidding Einstein!! Been informed that my wife didn't want to leave and she still loves me but had no choice:huh:
She still wants us to have a relationship but without her mother knowing!! I'm 47 and she's 50 for f**ks sake. Her mother has always had a control over her and for this I have always tried to compensate. How the F do I deal with this one???

You dont rush into anything, and you think about it. You said all along that this was the case though. I do feel sorry for her, but she does need to learn to stand up to her.

  • not too sure as to what these are but know they are popular amongst little ones at the minute, but someone in Tesco today bought these scanning at £3.75 if of any use to anyone on the lookout for them.

Tell her thanks but no thanks, not at this time.

You don't know that she's not going to go back to your wife and report back.

Besides, if your wife didn't want to do it, she wouldn't have let it get so far would she? She wouldn't have cleaned out your bank account and house and cancelled your car insurance would she? That's not the behaviour of someone who didn't want to do it. It's the behaviour of someone who knows exactly what she's doing

Will be very hit and miss now. I got 1 on Boxing Day, not realising it was a3:eek:, luckily sister was overjoyed to have it. Best bet is to write down model number and have a look. It's a massive box and is heavy. Filled a small trolley :rotfl:

    Evening peeps. :)

Yes Bubbs, I'm here and yes I got the post so a big thankyou to you and Willowwispy. :A

Been a really up and down day! Firstly up with the post. :) Then down with the MIL banging on the door saying she wanted the cooker and 2 wardrobes!! I told her to politely go away so she called the police. saying I threatened her. Police came and when I gave them my side of the story and the events that have gone on THEY told her to go away. I was then informed by the police that I had no tax on the car! Wife has sent it to DVLA for a refund!! She has also cancelled the insurance. Back to having no car. :(

Then a couple of friends came round, 1 with a few beers and the other with an electric heater. ! lent me a tenner to get some baccy and food so I went to T's and had a good nosey around for some cheapie bits. Couldn't find any until I found these.

First one had a SEL for £12, the other had one for £14. Both scanned at 25p :D Good if you have screw in light bulbs. Only bought these 2 as cash is a bit tight. :o

Anyway, off to answer Qoc as I can see she's messeged me on FB. :rotfl:

Sorry scamps, it's a bit suspect isn't it, that you get a visit from mil followed by a declaration of undying love from your dw? Sorry as I know how gutwrenchingly painful this is for you, but I'm a tad cynical about the timing of this sudden change of heart.

Chances are it's all about mind games. My mum used to do to my dad all the time. Tell wife's niece you are willing to talk to wife, and meet up with her in a cafe or something. That way it's in public so no accusations can be made :)
