I had to play a new game the other day - Advanced reverse Freezer Tetris.

I had put a fresh joint of beef into a drawer of the freezer, sat ontop of a pizza. As (like many) the freezer has not been defrosted in a while, it has lumps and bumps on the underside of the shelves, so when I went to get something out of that drawer the now solid lump of beef was hitting the lumps of ice and the drawer would only open about 4 inches.

So I had to jam my hand into the gap and feel about under the pizza box to remove all the items underneath the box one at a time - this part is great fun as you bang your frozen cold fingertips and knuckles into sharp corners.

So after a little blood, opening a box blind to remove burgers one at a time and snapping a frozen strudel in two to get everything out from underneath the pizza, I was able to remove the bag of frozen peppers I wanted.

Anyone reckon I should defrost the freezer yet??

before xmas we got a new extra freezer with a plan to defrost one of the other ones :o all full to bursting i realy needs a defrost as theres bargins to be had iv told o/h we can defost the small one soon but i keep sneeking things in there :o

i will say thou that one of my freezers it just for quick food like pizzas pies chips ready made lasagna burgers etc its stopped us getting takeaway for a year so far and dosnt get opend till the weekend normaly when i cook;) (dnt count the odd burger king or kfc )as we have them as a lunch on a saturday if we dnt have the kids ;) and hapen to be in town shopping

kids get McDonald with naan every now n then

Hello every body, hope we are all having a good enough Friday.

Earlier in the week I got a £10 Marks voucher for lingerie and nightwear - I am in the Marks Premium club and I get these vouchers about 4 times a year.

I also realised I had another voucher with a code from the previous mailing which gave 200 marks points = £2 when you spent £25, expiring next day.The £10 voucher also had a code.

Anyway I thought Id give it a try with some vests including one from the sale and get it delivered to store.

The codes worked fine and I got my order down to £1 but the system refused to give me instore delivery. So I tried ringing marks all day, no reply. I tried them on twitter and facebook and then finally I got a message with a free delivery code :T

Of course by this time one of my vests had gone out of stock so I had to find something else but I found a sleep set with a vest top and shorts - ideal for weekends. So now my order was £4 but still not bad for 2 vest tops and a sleep set with £2 of points in my next mailing.

So my packet arrived today, all good and with it another voucher for £5 wys £35 on clothing, lingerie, beauty or homeware with a code only valid for the end 2 weeks in January. I am wondering though if you also got a £5 voucher from Oxfam (you can ask for one if you drop off a Marks item at a shop) and went through self scan you might get to use both.(not for clearance or food sadly)

I also got 2 cards, one has all the stamps completed for a free greetings card and one has one stamp on it.
I heard of people getting these cards before Christmas - its very easy to just junk all of the paper work not realising that you have them

So I take it that means a free greetings card which I supposed you could make as part of a £35 shop if you scan the bigger voucher in first ???

Also I am thinking that if you do manage to find a Marks free delivery code maybe its worth getting something cheap in the clearance sale - say tights, vest, underwear etc in the hope of getting one of these free greetings cards with your order.

(I assume if you have a delivery to store then you don't get these free greetings card things???)

I collected an instore delivery on 29/12 and got the £5 off clothing voucher and the free card included in parcel.

Black Forest Gateau (630g/620g) also comparing vs £1.96 for Sains. (for now, as I saw Sains as OOS on msm). (Also - the doughnuts showing 50p and 50p for Sains. despite Sains. being much higher priced than that on msm? If memory serves me... Doesn't matter though on that, as best price - on non-whoopsed ones - is vs T.)
