Fitting Vertical Blinds to UPVC Windows

We have had our hardwood window replaced with a UPVC D/G one and we want to use our vertical blinds again with it but what do we fix it to, we don't have any wood and I don't believe you can drill the UPVC frame? Anyone know how they are fixed. We only have a metal lintel above the window that has been plastered.

Brackets on ours are fastened into the lintel.

You can drill into the frames.

The window and frame is UPVC so there is no wooden frame to fix it to. It was fixed to the top of the wooden window frame before.

That's brilliant, we were afraid that it would damage the UPVC as the window is brand new. ;)

I think they used self tapping as I said they been there for well over 5 years I have a large bay which has 3 blinds, a large upstairs landing and one bedroom which has large window. I have never had them cleaned yet but I am seriously think of cleaning the blinds this year in the bath. They didnt take long to fit a few hours but it was a local company that did it they came to measure, make and fit them

By the way, what kind of brackets do we need, and also what type of screws to screw it to the UPVC frame? Thanks.
