Appreciate what you're saying, however the promo offer in my online account says the following :-

Money Transfers To A Current Account - 0.0% until 15 April 2015 on all Money Transfers completed before 28 February 2014. A transfer handling fee will apply of 4.0% of the transaction (minimum of £3.00)

So reading thatm surely it won't be pulled between now and the 28th Feb ? Unless you know differently and have experience of these offers being pulled earlier than expected ?

I agree with YorkshireBoy, the risk of having to pay nearly £9000 at 17.5%APR would prompt me to get the transfer done asap.

    It's not unknown.

As I say, better to be safe than sorry. And as Cash Flow says, better to lose 2 weeks at 0% than 15 months at 17.5%!!

Indeed, but of course (s)he won't be losing two weeks anyway as the 0% end date is fixed regardless of when you get take the advance. You may as well get it ASAP and earn a quid or two interest off it before using it to pay off the other balance.

Mbna will keep the offers showing online until such a time that you were to breach the terms and conditions (missed payments \ over balance etc).

If anything my deals always roll over monthly to month once one of the dates passes on the transfer by....

remember the current deal ends on the statement date that month , not the due date following the statement , I assume that you only use this card for balance transfers? so as not to cloud matters regarding other purchase

Looks like it ends in 1 week, not 2 weeks as I originally thought. Website says this :-

Your current promotional monthly rates :-

    0.0000% Balance Transfers and Money Transfers/Cheques FPB9RWM5V 17/01/2014
Until 17 January 2014 on all balance transfers and money transfers completed before 23 July 2012

Promotional monthly rates on offer :-

    0.0000% Balance Transfers and Money Transfers/Cheques FPB9RWM53 15/04/2015
Until 15 April 2015 on all balance transfers and money transfers completed before 28 February 2014

Having now completed the money transfer which was repaid back to my MBNA card, my entire balance is now at a 0% interest rate code until April 2015. Gives me 15 months breathing space as opposed to being hit for £120pm interest charges.
