We once borrowed a CD of nursery songs that we all really liked but can't remember what it was and would really like to buy it.
We loved it bc it wasn't sung by a high-pitched woman with plums in her mouth and there was a variety of styles on it - from classic stuff to funky.
It had these songs on it, amongst others:
Koala, Koala
The Big Ship Sails
Sing a Song of Six Pence
Jack and Jill
The Wheels on the Bus
I know most CDs of nursery songs have these songs on it with the exception of Koala, Koala.
Or can anyone recommend a nice nursery CD? Something that adults won't mind either on 6hr car trip!
Thanks for any help

Only in my opinion, but children are served just aswell by the music that the adult listens to. Put something on that is not going to stress you out for 6 hours. My two dds are 3 and 5 and love punk rock, but let them listen to whatever you are into. It does not do them any harm at all.Loving the dtd thread. x0

Have you tried the Early learning centre? My 2 are too old for things in there now really but I used to get them cds from there and remember a good selection with nursery rythmes on them. Might be worth a look.0

Would you recognise the cover? My branch of tesco has a massive selection of nursery cd's. Worth a look. Also look on play.com if you know what the cover looks like. Good luck in your search!0
