Hi, I'm currently on the same mission, start back to work on the 13th. Have got up to some of the 31st but I keep having to go back to the front page of the newly listed in case I miss something. It's going better than I thought it would! Awful lot of red crosses on each page mind... :)

Good luck in the new job x

My aim was to do the same time when I had time off over Christmas. I did manage to get up straight, but as soon as I was back at work, I could not keep it up. I normally do most of my comping at the weekend, so I think that from Monday to Friday, I might just have to check those ending the next day too, then try and catch up a week's worth of new posts on Saturday and Sunday.

Good luck with the new job

Good luck! I did this whilst off work over Christmas, really struggling to keep up to date now though - real life keeps getting in the way!
Thanks to everyone who posts. Good luck all. :)
  • Had a break from comping in Dec (life and Christmas got in the way lol!) and started back with a vengeance this past weekend as I made it one of my New Year resolutions to keep up to date with it! I have only just finishing ploughing my way through the main board, and have also started doing dailies also!

Every time I close my eyes I see this board lol, I'm going mad!

But its a fun hobby and the wins are a really nice bonus :D so makes it worth it!

I'm back at work full-time from next week, however I have a 2 hour commute door to door on the train, so hopefully I won't get too lax!

Don't know if you've considered this but I use a mix of both comping systems. Mainly I comp by last post, but if I get behind for any reason, I 'end date for today and tomorrow' each day until I catch up.

It takes the pressure off having to catch up quickly or worrying too much about falling behind. And any end date comping is very quick to do, because I find I have already ticked or crossed most of the comps.

I'm up to date with the board - it feels quite satisfying. Although I only enter for comps I want to win, and don't do TW or FB L&S. Also because I'm not a big movie fan, I tend not to go for DVDs. That said, it's still lovely to jump to page 200 and see the row of lit up crosses and ticks...!

Good luck with your board clearance :)
