I didn't get any champers alas. I got the email about the offer, but it did say on the bottom that it was only in some areas so I guess it isn't in my area.

Ring customer services and ask about it?
  • The terms and conditions are: "Offer available for an online grocery order delivered or collected between 6 and 31 January 2014. Excludes Waitrose Entertaining Food made to order. Offer not available in store. One per customer. You must be 18 years or older to take advantage of this offer. A non alcoholic alternative is available. While stocks last. Online Grocery orders: Minimum spend on online groceries of £50 applies. Selected postcodes. Subject to availability. Free delivery excludes our shop in branch service. Gold Medal and the Great Value Champagne Trophy at the 2013 International Wine Challenge."
  • I had arranged to pick my order up in store yesterday between 4-6pm and so I telephoned them first, around 2pm, to ensure that the champagne would be included. The person on Customer Service Desk who answered the phone had not heard of the offer and so put me through to deliveries. The person I spoke to there seemed unsure but I quoted the terms and conditions and it was duly included when I collected my goods.
  • Placed my order last night to be delivered tomorrow. Got additional £15 off as it was my 3rd order online. Incredible value! :j

Got mine with this morning delivery. Brilliant. Have been shopping online with them since September. Very good, would not change.
  • Unit the end of January Waitrose are giving a bottle of their champagne (which I believe is £19.99 from their site) with a grocery order of over £50. Free delivery as well.

Me too! The husband wanted to do an order from them soon (we normally shop elsewhere) but we don't drink so would be a shame if they sent Champagne.

ETA - Facebook says the alternative is a box of Prestat Jewel Chocolates and truffles.

I didn't recieve any champagne with my online order and customer services were not helpful, so i contacted the store myself and they are dropping a bottle round this evening!
