Does the potential cashback cover the fees charged?
Well looking at the trainlines fees if you buy with their mob app they charge a £1 booking fee (Collection free, debit card free) and offer 1.57% cash back so if you spend over £63* you make money. But for some, cashback chasing is like tescos club card point collecting.
BTH I don't buy my ticket online, too many compo vouchers to use for all those delayed trains, lack of 1st facilities, bad attitude staff or just drunken football fans so its off to the station for me.
