Just had an email from a friend out in Vegas, he has won some money and was wondering if he had to declare it on entry.
Any one know? I couldn't see anything on the Customs website

He'll have to declare anything more than $10,000 to US Customs before he leaves. The casino may have given him a form for this.
I think the limit in the UK is £10,000 (or currency equivilent) before it has to be declared.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Unless he has already filled out the forms in the casino he'll have had something like 20 percent deducted as if he was a US tax payer . This is only for high value wins ....so depends what he classes as a big win though !I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
