v jealous of your going to italy! was just saying on sunday I want to go back - love love love it (and esp the food!)

I'm certainly looking forward to it, although it's the first time I've travelled abroad since I started to get a grip on anxiety so it will be a test. I'm not much looking forward to getting there but I'm going to love eating and drinking my way through Venice :)
  • 10/15 tonight please.

Feeling a bit down in the dumps today, not entirely sure why.

There is a FAB restaurant in venice called La Zucca. We went in September. It is veggie but like you've never tasted before (and I am a definite steak and bernaise kinda girl). You need to book (even for lunch) but worth it - the zucchini lasagne to die for, literally. And their tiramisu was pretty good too. And not too tough on the wallet either. Menu is in italian but waitresses will translate.

Thanks for the tip! I'm looking for places that are off the beaten track so will definitely look into it. I'm good with veggie :)

    18/24 for tonight please.
  • Mega fail here - had drinks Fri/Sat/Sun then went and had one last night. Yeah it was only one, but it was on a scheduled AF day. Kicking myself now even though I did enjoy it at the time. Stuck at 7/15 and very unlikely to get anywhere near target now. I really do need to get myself in gear as I need to lose weight as well in the next 10 weeks. Having a foot problem is meaning walking is painful at the moment which really isn't helping. Feeling a bit down in the dumps at the moment.

For all those down in the dumps, it is always a temporary state of mind for me but seems so permanent at the time. As for reasons, it is still dark nights and atrocious weather, but it's getting better really quickly now. I always feel better if I just go to bed and sleep on it, the next morning usually feels like a weight off my shoulders.

Really fancy Venice, never been. I am veggie too so the restaurant sounds great!

Lulubelle - The Lindt chocolates seem like a great idea, I have no diversion therapy for the nights, so am going to get some tonight, love Lindt balls!

21 AF days tonight please Shaggy.

Adding 5 to my total since I last posted, so I think I'm up to 17/TF.

Having a grotty half-term with lots of bad and sad news, so trying to remain strong.

Can I try for 25/31 for March please Shaggy x

Shaggy, can I please set a goal of 21 for March?

I'm also feeling quite down in the dumps but agree with Green Karen that the dark nights and tail end of winter probably have a lot to do with it - so well done everyone who is sticking to their guns but if that's proving too hard, it's understandable and I don't think people should feel bad - every AF day is a victory basically, whatever the targets people set for themselves.
