7/31 for tonight please. First whole weekend AF for ages if I manage it. It's not helped by the fact that OH isn't going AF this month.0

Maybe an app that takes a photo of your face and then shows you what you'll look like after a heavy night. Put your units in and see how bad it will be. Like those apps that show you what the haircut will be like before you do it.

Fab idea!! :rotfl: I do know some developers but not sure I would want to be a part of the prototype

PS weather forecast is overcast all day, pretty thick cloud here, but actually I'm pleased because one of the triggers for me if I'm home is a beautiful afternoon and sunset, especially if it's warm - sparks off the thought in my head, "a drink as the sun goes down, mmm". I don't usually have an AFD on Saturdays so am glad the British weather has decided to support my challenge0

Now that's really interesting. I thought having my first drink when I started eating was normal, but there you go, apparently not. My problem was that once I started I didn't stop, which is why I had to discipline myself not to drink until I had food in front of me. I'd been doing that for 20 years. Still caught up with me, though, in the end.
Went to the pub last night with some chums and one of them bought a round. OH told him I was drinking an AF beer and he asked if I ever drank alcohol. Wow! I stopped drinking well over two years ago and there are still people in my life who don't know. Didn't think that was possible. He was fine about it, just interested in whether I drank champagne, spirits etc on special occasions, that's all. I admitted to eating liqueur chocolates.
Thanks for my favourite smiley Shaggy, and it's 8/31 please.Better is good enough.0 -
